A Mad Bird

My wife told me about this bird that kept attacking the window today and when I got home I took this photo of the bird after hearing some pecking the window and he was sat on the fence opposite

He was a cute little fellow

Keeping an eye on what I was doing in the room. My wife said she took a few photos with her camera but it ran out of battery so borrowed mine.

She took a lot of photos of the bird

I think my wife showed me up with my own camera. Have a great weekend

  1. I would've taken a lot of photos, too, if this bird was pecking at our window. :-) Your wife got some pretty neat shots.

  3. You both took some great photos of this feathered character. He was certainly engaging with the photographer(s). Do you know what type of bird and do you see him regularly?

A young male chaffinch - as Eileen mentions, most likely thinking he's under threat from the 'other one'!! What a delightful series and the wife may need to have a weekly post all to herself... hehehehhe. Have a wonderful weekend. YAM xx

  8. My sister had some photos of a bird that did the same thing at her house one day a year or so ago. I wonder what gets them so confused.

  9. We had a bird that pecked on our window one spring a few years ago. I posted a picture that I took of him from the inside looking out at him. Your wife did a fine job of capturing the event.
